Martin Foskett is the Founder and Editor of the Elsenham Herald.
A journalist and photographer with more than 30 years of experience, Martin has spent his career documenting events, asking questions and helping readers understand the stories that affect their lives. His work has covered breaking news, local government, politics, transport, aviation, heritage, public affairs and community issues across the United Kingdom.
The Elsenham Herald was founded on a simple belief: every community deserves reliable, independent local journalism.
A Career in Journalism
Martin began working as a freelance news photographer in the early 1990s, covering breaking news, public events and community stories. Over the years, his work has expanded into investigative reporting, feature writing, policy analysis and digital publishing.
His photography has been published and licensed by newspapers, magazines, museums, educational organisations, government bodies and international publishers through both direct commissions and editorial licensing.
This experience forms the foundation of the Elsenham Herald’s commitment to accurate, responsible and independent reporting.
Why the Elsenham Herald Was Created
