OVERNIGHT STANSTED EXPRESS TRIAL LAUNCHES TO IMPROVE LATE NIGHT AIRPORT TRAVEL

STANSTED AIRPORT, Essex. Passengers travelling to and from London Stansted Airport will be able to use overnight Stansted Express services on Friday nights throughout the summer after a new trial began on Friday 3 July. The additional trains are intended to improve rail links for people arriving on late night flights and those catching the first departures on Saturday mornings.

“The Robin Hood” Public House in, surprise, surprise, Robin Hood Road is sadly no longer an Inn, once the spiritual home of the also-gone, but never-forgotten Elsenham Football Club. Sorry to say, the demise of the Village’s Eleven contributed to its demise. Our own “Footy” boys drank the Pub dry at least once. Their disbanding was a great loss to Ernie & Rennee Atkinson’s income.
